Always keen to spread the word on curd, Patrick holds regular cheese talks and tastings for the public, trade and press.

He has hosted events for Eurostar, The Edinburgh International Science Festival, The Big Feastival, The Restaurant Show, The Wines & Spirits Education Trust, ComtĂ© UK and the World Cheese Awards, among others, with topics ranging from pairing cheese and fizz to the politics of raw milk and the science of cheese.

Cheese matching is a particular specialism - Patrick has hosted numerous tastings at food festivals, pubs and restaurants extolling the beautiful harmony between cheese and everything from beer, wine and cider to tea, coffee and chocolate.

Patrick is an experienced judge at numerous food and drink awards, including the Great Taste Awards, Shop of the Year, The British Cheese Awards, The Great Yorkshire Show and the Great British Cheese Awards.

He is one of the 16 Super Jury judges at the World Cheese Awards and is the head judge of the annual Cheese Counter of the Year competition, sponsored by Le Gruyere.
